Hello, and welcome! I'm James Lett, Professor of Anthropology &
Geography at
Indian River College
and Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at
Florida Atlantic University.
This WebPage provides basic
information about the courses I teach, and it includes a few details
about my background and interests. It's intended primarily for
students who are currently enrolled in my classes, as well as
prospective students who'd like to learn more about the study of
anthropology and geography at IRC, but it also contains resources that
might be useful for visitors interested in anthropology, geography,
scientific reasoning, or skepticism.
I invite you to explore the
surrounding links. The links to Classroom Courses and
Online Courses include complete syllabi for each of the courses I
teach. The link to Daily Schedule lists my teaching
assignments and office hours for the current semester. The link to
Biography features a brief sketch of my background. The link
to Publications describes the highlights of my scholarly
activity, and includes excerpts from some of my published works.
The link to Curriculum Vita contains a current copy of my
academic résumé. The link to the Department will take you
to the homepage for Social Sciences at IRC, and the link to Honors
will take you to the homepage for the College's Honors Program.
