One of four departments in the
Division of Communications & Social Sciences,
the Department of Social Sciences offers coursework
in six subject areas that comprise the core components of several
Associate in Arts Degree Programs.
The Department of
Social Sciences has ten full-time faculty members (including one social scientist who
is also a member of the
Department of Humanities) and more than thirty
adjunct and affiliated faculty members.
