Welcome to my web site!  I hope you will find the information on these pages helpful to you to successfully complete your course. 

This Spring,  I am teaching General Biology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Life Science and  Science Education classes.   Please click on the link to the left for your particular course to get the syllabus, notes and test reviews.

Just to give you a little background on myself, I have an AA from IRCC, a BA in Zoology from the University of South Florida, and a MS in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Dakota.  I am currently working on my PhD through the Florida Institute of Technology.   In addition, I have a certification in Molecular Laboratory Genetics from Michigan State University and a certification in Meteorology from Texas A&M University, and I am a nationally certified and Florida state licensed Medical Laboratory Supervisor.  Prior to coming back to IRSC, I worked for almost 30 years in the medical laboratory field as a Laboratory Supervisor and as a hurricane forecaster for the US Air Force.

I live with my German Shepherds Beauregard and Scarlett.  During my free time I love to swim and garden and play with my dogs.  I am also very involved in a swan research group, Envirothon and teaching science teachers!
