Welcome to Indian River Community College Automotive Technology Automotive Service Management Technology, is a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree program. Training in a state-of-the-art facility students learn the skills needed to be successful in the automotive repair industry. As an instructor in this AAS degree program I will prepare you for certification by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). IRCC's program is Master Automotive Certified in eight categories. At the completion of this course of study, graduates are prepared for employment in a variety of positions in dealerships, independent repair shops, or fleet maintenance facilities. Students can choose to enter jobs as automotive technicians, service writers, service managers, parts specialists, or entrepreneurs.
