Welcome to my page. Allow me to introduce myself. I am originally from Pensacola, Florida. I had received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Tuskegee University (1981) and a Master of Science degree in chemistry from Florida A & M University (1994). I have taught chemistry as both an adjunct and a full-time instructor for the past eleven years. I taught as an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College for three years. I have also taught chemistry full-time at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia for three years and chemistry and physical science at Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton, Alabama. I had also worked in industry as a synthetic organic chemist at Organomed in Rhode Island. In my spare time, I volunteer as a science tutor for St. Lucie County Upward Bound program, I am very active member at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Fort Pierce, Florida. At St. Paul, I serve as assistant secretary of the Male Usher Board and a member of the Sons of Allen Outreach Ministry. At IRCC, I have taught CHM 1020 – Introduction to Chemistry, CHM 1045- General Chemistry I, CHM 1046 – General Chemistry II, CHM 1045L – General Chemistry I Laboratory, CHM 1046L – General Chemistry II Laboratory, and ESC 1000 – Earth Science. This fall, I am teaching Introduction to Chemistry (CHM 1020), General Chemistry I lecture and laboratory (CHM 10-45 & CHM 1045L), and Earth Science (ESC 1000) on the Main Campus, St. Lucie West Campus, and Chastain Campus.
