Instructor Bio
Dr. Cronin started at Indian River in 2001. Prior to teaching here, she was a classroom teacher for 11 years having taught Middle School Reading for 2 years, French K-8 for 6 years and Spanish 1-9 for 3 years in both Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.
She is currently an Associate Professor of Education, teaching in both the A.A. and B.S. programs.
Dr. Cronin is also the lead advisor for Phi Theta Kappa (the national honor society of two-year colleges), the Primary Contact for the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers at Indian River and the chair of the E.D.G.E. (Exploring Discipline-Grounded Epistemologies) Workgroup, an Affiliate of the Carnegie Foundation's CASTL (Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) Program.
