EDGE Workgroup

(Exploring discipline-Grounded Epistemologies)

 

The Exploring Discipline-Grounded Epistemologies (EDGE) Workgroup was formed in September 2005. This workgroup is comprised primarily of faculty representing various disciplines. The group’s main purpose is to address the scholarship of teaching and learning by exploring the epistemologies of specific disciplines, by examining assessment techniques and by developing strategies that engage students in deep learning.
