Prof. Barbara VanHorn, Ph.D. Professor & Chair, Department of Social Sciences

Prof. VanHorn holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of North Texas. She joined the faculty of Indian River State College as an Assistant Professor in 2001. She was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2004 and then to the rank of Professor in 2007.

Prof. VanHorn has been certified by the District Board of Trustees of Indian River State College to teach Psychology at the pre-baccalaureate level. Psychology

Prof. VanHorn has served as Chair of the Department of Social Sciences since 2005.
