The mission of the Indian River Community College English / Modern Languages Department is to use the latest pedagogy, research, and technology to improve students’ use of English, to develop their appreciation of the humanities, to participate in college initiatives, to interact with other academic and support departments in developing curriculum, and to provide courses and programs that meet the needs of our students and of our communities.
