Through coursework in the Associate in Arts and Associate in Science Degree programs, the Indian River State College Division of Communications and Social Sciences prepares students for successful transfer to institutions of higher education by providing a multicultural liberal arts foundation in Humanities, Social Sciences, English, Modern Languages, Communication, and Education. The Division provides comprehensive preparation for Middle and High School teachers in Math, Science, and Exceptional Student Education through its program for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Teacher Education.
