The River Classic Custom Car Show
The first River Classic Car Show was held at the Indian River Community College main campus. It took over 3 months of planning in cooperation with Eddie Cebrecco promoter of “Blood Drag” in the Palm Beaches. His valued advice and assistance helped to make this event a huge success. With over 130 entries competing in over 25 different classifications from custom to classic. There were over fifty 1st and 2nd place trophies awarded. The turnout was awesome, with over 1200 spectators visiting us. As you can see in our slide show, we had a very diverse group of entries making this a very unique car show.
The River Classic/Custom Car Show is now an annual event. We hope that it will continue to grow and remain a popular venue for the entire family to enjoy. It is a great opportunity to showcase our Automotive Programs, introduce our New Special Topics Courses, and most of all raise money for the IRCC Foundation Automotive Scholarship Fund. The money raised is used to assist our automotive students with tuition, books, and other special needs that may arise during their automotive training here at IRCC. We hope to see you at our 5th Annual River Classic 2008 Car Show, here at the Main Campus on Sunday, March 2, 2008. Our Rain Date is set for March 16, 2008.
